After almost two years, we again managed to secure a contract for the supply of duct wire for an American manufacturer.
With more than 60 years of history, this company is one of America’s leading manufacturers of ductwork for air conditioning and hot air distribution. High-carbon drawn wires with dimensions between 1.0 – 1.5 mm are usually used for the duct wires of this pipeline, which are subsequently twisted into a spiral during processing and form the supporting part of the light and flexible pipeline.
Supplier competition for this segment is quite strong from local American, European and Asian manufacturers. However, thanks to the combination of the active approach of our American agent, an attractive price and the current customs policy and import quotas for steel products, we managed to get an order for five containers, which were delivered during March 2024.
